MCA Chicago Redesign

MCA Chicago’s website created a tough experience for the user because of its overwhelming design, visually and technically. I expected a contemporary art museum’s experience would be easy to navigate. Moments, where there was too much content on the screen, took away from the website’s minimal design. My main goal in rebranding MCA’s website was to make sure users feel comfortable on the site and can find exactly what they’re looking for with ease. The final design was based on research and analysis of MCA and its competitors, user research, and participatory design.
